Terrain: Hard packed dirt, some sand in certain areas.
Skill Level: Main trail is easy terrain, side trails are intermediate to difficult and always meet up with main trail
Scenery: Some good views of the valleys below, not very scenic overall
General Weather: Potential for high winds, hot in the summer and moderate in the winter
Amenities: Restrooms and garbage cans, no running water

Trestles (Baldy Mesa) OHV trails run along the ridge of mountains paralleling the 15. It also connects to Cleghorn OHV area by riding along the railroad tracks for approximately 3 miles. Cross the railroad tracks where you see a guard shack and the 138 highway, and ride along the dirt road until it meets the 138, cross the 138 highway, and follow the dirt road up the hill to the Cleghorn Staging area. The path is poorly marked but is legal. Trestles has about 25 miles of trails on the main road, and dozens of smaller and more difficult trails that meet up with the main trail every mile or so.

LA area:
- Take 15N and exit 138, go straight at the *Note: This is the last food and gas
- Stop sign onto the dirt road until Trestles.
- Follow the dirt road approximately 3 miles to the staging area
